The first world ranking competition of the year was last weekend in Reykjanesbær/Keflavík held by Máni that is the local riding club. Four riders from the farm were competing and they did very well.
I (Katrín) was in b - final with the stallion Dagfari frá Miðkoti in open class ( total score 6,83), very happy with that since it is his second tölt competition and he is only 6 years old. Dabbi was successful and won the gæðingaskeið/pacetest with 6,71 and was in fourth place in the 100m pace test with our promising mare Irpa frá Borgarnesi. Ási won the tölt and was number two in fourgait with his horse Reyr frá Melabergi in the young rider class. At last but not least Siggi Sæm won the 100 pace test on his pacehorse Spori frá Holtsmúla 1. Overal a successful weekend.
